Putting Benji furst since 2016.
One dog, one window, and a whole lot of road. SafetyFurst is a small, family-run brand that started with a simple question: why isn't there anywhere comfy for a dog to rest their chin?
Where it started
Benji always wanted the window.
Benji, a Bernedoodle, joined the family in 2016 and immediately made one thing clear: the best seat in any car is the one with your head out the window. Andrew, Gina and Benji spent years living and traveling in a Sprinter van, from White Sands to Joshua Tree to alpine lakes. Some of Benji's favorite moments were the slow, scenic stretches, chin on the window ledge and nose in the breeze.
There was nothing made for it. So Andrew, a mechanical engineer by training, designed one from scratch: a featherlight foam chin rest that sits right on the glass. That became the Whiffie Cushion®.
